POLLOS A LA BRASA - PERUVIAN ROTISSERIE

Your Neighborhood Chifa

‘Chifa’ is a term you’ll hear on the streets of Lima regarding restaurants that  serve Chinese infused Peruvian dishes. In the late 1800’s, waves of immigrants from the Cantonese region of China moved to Peru. To this day, some of the most popular Peruvian dishes have been heavily influenced by the introduction of Chinese ingredients and methods of cooking. We are proud in our commitment to bring you quality authentic fusion Peruvian dishes just like the chifa’s in Lima.

Our Family

Our family first opened a rotisserie in Lima, Peru in 1960. There, we developed our authentic flavors, prepared fresh meals by hand, and honed our skill in roasting chickens. As my family immigrated to the United States in 1973, we moved our restaurant to New York City by Roosevelt Ave. in Queens. More than 40 years later, the only change I’ve made to our restaurant is our location, now in Brooklyn. Welcome to your neighborhood chifa!
